Karen Allison
Karen Allison is a Legal Assistant working at the Kreitler Law Firm. In August of 2021, Karen joined James in helping to begin his new law firm. She is proud to be working with a team who is committed to a positive and supportive atmosphere.
She is dedicated to making sure we provide a professional and cheerful experience for our clients in the areas of probate and trust administration and estate planning. Karen's preference of estate planning and probate law comes from a desire to help people and their families to best prepare for how to deal with their property when they pass. It is necessary to have a light-hearted and compassionate understanding of their desires when clients choose the most appropriate way to plan for their estate. She enjoys assisting clients in their time of need during these situations.
Karen has been working in the legal profession since 1996 with a variety of different fields. She graduated from Jefferson College in 1997 with an A.A.S. degree in Office Systems and Technologies and a Word Processing Secretary Specialist Major. After 26 years in the profession, she is proud to be working for such a flourishing and ambitious firm.
Karen loves animals, and it has always been a dream of hers to share her critters with everyone through a petting zoo or exhibition. She also enjoys cruising and four-wheeling with friends and the much-loved trip to Florida when she can get away.
Candice Kist
Candice Kist was born in Racine, Wisconsin and moved with her family to Ste. Genevieve, Missouri as a child. Candice has been in the administrative field for over 20 years and joined Kreitler Law Firm as an Administrative Assistant in September of 2021. In her free time, Candice enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with family.
Emily Moore
Emily Moore is a Jefferson County born and raised resident. She studied early childhood education at a college in Florida. She became a preschool teacher in Missouri and taught for 5 years. She then left the workforce for eight years in order to dedicate her time and energy to raising her children.
She began working part time for the Kreitler Law Firm in 2021 as an administrative assistant. In 2022 she became a full-time legal assistant as the Estate and Business Assistant and Business Solutions Manager. In 2023 she became the Lead Estate and Business Paralegal. She helps with the handling of the estate plans, trusts, and business matters from the paralegal standpoint. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, serving at her church, and reading.
Jane Roth
Stephanie Miller
Stephanie Miller was born and raised in Festus, Missouri. Stephanie Joined the Kreitler Law Firm in January 2024 as the receptionist for the Festus office and brings over 15 years of administrative and customer service experience with her. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and antiquing with her husband, crafting and cooking for family and friends. She also loves to volunteer her time serving in various ministries at her church.
Jessica Becker
Jessica Becker is a lifelong resident of Jefferson County. Jessica has been working as a legal assistant/paralegal for over 30 years in the Jefferson County legal community, bringing that experience with her to the Kreitler Law Firm in June of 2024. She is excited to begin a new chapter in her professional career. Outside of work, Jessica does volunteer work with a local food bank and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, reading, and crafting.
